Terms of Use
By using Humble Shark you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Humble Shark is — and isn't
Humble Shark is a personal record-keeping tool for assets you enter yourself. It is not financial, investment, tax, or retirement advice. Shark Insights, tier milestones, EPF readiness indicators, and currency conversions are informational calculations based on the numbers you provide and publicly available reference rates; they may be inaccurate or out of date, and you should not make financial decisions based on them alone.
Your account and your data
- You sign in with a Google or Apple account and are responsible for securing it.
- The accuracy of what you track is up to you — the app stores what you type, and totals are only as correct as your entries.
- Shared-book invite links grant access to that book's data. You are responsible for who you send them to.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, or use the app for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service (currently: nothing).
Ending things
You can stop using Humble Shark at any time: erase your data or delete your account entirely from Settings (see the account deletion page for exactly what each covers). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
